Words can lead to our greatest understanding or be the barrier to connection. What a wonderful and complex dichotomy they bring to our lives.

In this time of super duper connectivity we are more alone than ever. I grieve often for the cost we bear for this.

Here is my welcome to spring poem. Not quite the standard sunny days and buds all round but it’s speaks of the seeds of life we have within us and how with strength and courage we do not have to accept the limits other place on us or  allow others to define us by their interpretation of who we are. We can stand tall bend in the wind and bloom.

We all have times of darkness and sometime it is only when I look back that I can see how far I’ve come.

I hope if your world is dark you too can see past it and can find ways to move forward. Writing helps me , it gives me space to think and to be and a way to see beyond the limitations and to fly.

All things in life a cyclical. Hope always follows despair - and some seasons are longer than we would like.

This may sound a bit dark and it comes from a point of darkness following a time of joy.

It reminded me how easy it is to forget the beauty around us and see only despair.

Some days you wake up and just feel ready to connect with the world you live in. When you listen to that call, great things are possible.

I have sat through many presentations in acknowledgement of country and I've listened to the words but at a conference in sydney I actually heard the essence behind the words spoken.

I now listen with new awareness so with honour and humility i would like to respectfully offer these words as an interpretation of the message I felt that morning.

A change of perspective can alter the way you view even the most common of every day items.

Growth can be messy and hard, and it always contains beauty

Ugh. We’ve all been here right. For all the ease it can bring to our world, an equal and opposite reaction is created when our technology stops working.
