Words from Jenny Benham
Words Set Us Free
Words can lead to our greatest understanding or be the barrier to connection. What a wonderful and complex dichotomy they bring to our lives.
Todays Exchange
In this time of super duper connectivity we are more alone than ever. I grieve often for the cost we bear for this.
Seeds Opening
Here is my welcome to spring poem. Not quite the standard sunny days and buds all round but it’s speaks of the seeds of life we have within us and how with strength and courage we do not have to accept the limits other place on us or allow others to define us by their interpretation of who we are. We can stand tall bend in the wind and bloom.
Night
We all have times of darkness and sometime it is only when I look back that I can see how far I’ve come.
I hope if your world is dark you too can see past it and can find ways to move forward. Writing helps me , it gives me space to think and to be and a way to see beyond the limitations and to fly.
Me and My Mate
From the first rays of dawn sneaking through the blinds to the playful memories of racing along the beach, this story captures the essence of loyalty, joy, and the timeless bond that transcends age. Whether you're reminiscing about youthful adventures or savoring the gentle pace of today, the love between a dog and their human is an enduring force, rooted in shared experiences and boundless affection. Embrace the magic of these moments and the unshakable love that ties you to your four-legged friend.
Seeds of the Morning
Some days you wake up and just feel ready to connect with the world you live in. When you listen to that call, great things are possible.
People of the Land
I have sat through many presentations in acknowledgement of country and I've listened to the words but at a conference in sydney I actually heard the essence behind the words spoken.
I now listen with new awareness so with honour and humility i would like to respectfully offer these words as an interpretation of the message I felt that morning.
My IT Dependancy
Ugh. We’ve all been here right. For all the ease it can bring to our world, an equal and opposite reaction is created when our technology stops working.
Energy Recharge
It’s darkest before the dawn for a reason. An age old metaphor that continues to stand the test of time.
