Seeds Opening

Welcome to our forest

Welcome to our garden 

Just a few hours ago before the rising of the sun -

seeds were planted in our souls 

planted with the hope.

Hope that we shall be as we joined together with humility and gratitude 

We shared - We spoke with words from deep within 

And with courage removing our fragile masks to welcome the breaking of the light 

our visions, they took shape 

We began to see our paths 

The paths from upon which we shall transcend 

These seeds slowly began to open 

our essence in unison together flowed  

The earth began to move as we each opened a little at a time 

The pain was so real

each one of us in silence began to feel 

But we knew as we shared our worlds that together we were safe

Safe from the nightmare built up inside 

These words of pain were spoken with a power that set us free

There was no longer any shame, shame in being me.
