Watch the flower hold it gently in your hands

Feel the petals caress your flesh

Place it upon your dry parched lips

Let the essence of life pass through you

Just hold it close, nothing more you need to do

I give you permission to feel at peace

Lay your head upon the grass

Release the questions you’ve always been afraid to ask

It’s okay to be afraid, let it come, let it pass

Take the seed; plant it within your soul

Give yourself permission; feel safe, feel whole
