Sunrise in Darkness Conversation

Sunrise in Darkness speaks of a time of pain and sorrow. A time when the temptation to be absorbed in the Darkness is strong. A time when not to try is, in fact, more inviting than facing the intense feelings of potential failure - "I want not to test my strength". The fear of being emotionally torn apart, crushed in the darkness of not feeling understood is so much more intense than the inner drive to try to stand.

We all have times of darkness in our lives, I've spent many years being caught up in this darkness. For a lot of this time, I almost feel safer in the darkness which had become familiar but few things thrive to their fullest in darkness so slowly, tentatively I reach beyond the darkness. I have found words that when put together work as tiny candles that help guide me to see there is something outside this darkness but they also form a path so if fear gets too great I can draw them in and build a place of rest and if need be hide until courage helps us step out once more.
